As a result of our expansion plans and continued success, we are seeking a dynamic Security Operations Centre Administrative Assistant to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.
About The Role
The Security Operations Centre (SOC) Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the Security Operations team at The Range Head Office. This position is responsible for managing communications, documentation, reporting, scheduling, and data entry, while assisting with the coordination of security systems, incident tracking, and compliance processes. The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion in a fast-paced, security-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Administrative Support
- Provide administrative assistance to the Security and Loss Operations Manager and SOC team.
- Manage departmental correspondence, including emails, reports, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, maintenance logs, and system performance reports.
- Operational Support
- Assist in monitoring and tracking security system jobs and contractor activities.
- Update and maintain SOC databases and dashboards to ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinate and document incident reports, ensuring follow-up actions are tracked and completed.
- Communication & Coordination
- Serve as a point of contact between the SOC, stores, facilities, IT, and other internal departments.
- Assist in preparing reports and summaries for senior management.
- Liaise with external security service providers to support incident responses and maintenance activities.
Essential Qualifications

- Discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
