As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Stock Integrity Specialist to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.
About the Role:
The Stock Integrity Specialist is responsible for safeguarding the accuracy and reliability of inventory records across all channels and systems. This role will investigate stock discrepancies, resolve integration issues, and drive improvements in stock management processes to support operational efficiency, margin protection, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Triage and prioritise stock-related issues using the Sysaid ticketing system.
- Investigate and validate root causes of stock discrepancies, including system integration failures (e.g., WMS, ERP, IMS).
- Collaborate with IT developers, supply chain, and commercial teams to resolve issues and implement fixes.
- Track ticket progress, escalate unresolved issues, and ensure accountability for resolution.
- Participate in testing and validation of system fixes prior to deployment.
- Develop and maintain reconciliation processes across systems and new workstreams.
- Query and analyse relevant databases (SQL proficiency required).
- Document all fixes, developments, and process changes in the appropriate system.
- Provide ongoing support for new sales channels and integration projects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in Change Board processes for stock-related changes.
- Support training and onboarding of new team members as required.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Exceptionally analytical with a proven ability to interpret complex data and identify patterns or anomalies in stock records.
- Outstanding attention to detail; able to spot discrepancies and inconsistencies others might miss.
- Skilled at managing multiple tasks, issues, and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in SQL and experienced with integrated business systems.
- Experienced in using ticketing and incident management systems (e.g., Sysaid, ServiceNow).
- Excellent communicator, able to collaborate effectively across departments and present findings clearly.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, taking ownership of problems and driving them to resolution.
- Strong documentation and process improvement skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with WMS, ERP, and retail POS systems.
- Understanding of margin reporting and inventory valuation.
- Experience supporting new sales channels and integrations.
- Knowledge of loss prevention and operational risk management.
