As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Security Store Detective.
Job Purpose:
This role entails working for the Loss Prevention department as part of a covert target team across the Scotland area. You will be deployed to our high-risk stores to identify and apprehend offenders for theft, while always being professional when dealing with conflict. The work of the Security Store Detective is crucial in the identification, apprehension and prosecution of criminals who target our stores. You will also support your Security Team Leader by providing training and development to our retail colleagues in Loss Prevention activity and department objectives.
Accountabilities:
- Deployed as a team to high-risk stores to identify and apprehend theft offenders.
- Generate detailed incident reports and collate evidence to support criminal prosecutions.
- Conducting training to support stores.
- Building relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
- Completing surveillance operations across the retail/distribution network.
- Always adhere to company policies and guidelines.

This role will have the potential for travel across the UK and will involve overnight stays. After your initial training, your line manager will continue to work with you to support your career development (we aim to promote from within).
Salary, Hours and Requirements:
- Salary TBC
- Full time permanent contract, 44 hours per week
- Full driving licence with own reliable transport required
- Must be fully flexible working 5 days out of 7 (early/late/weekend essential to the role)
