We are seeking a full-time Duty Manager to be based on-site in our Upton, Wirral location. The Duty Manager will oversee daily operational activities, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the store. Responsibilities include:

  • Staff supervision
  • Monitoring customer service standards
  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Addressing any operational challenges

The Duty Manager will also play a key role in ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations while working collaboratively with the management team to drive store performance.

Qualifications:

  • Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to supervise, motivate, and support team members effectively.
  • Customer service and problem-solving skills, combined with a customer-first approach.
  • Organizational and time management capabilities, including managing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience in retail operations or a similar environment, with an understanding of stock control and merchandising.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle operational challenges effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with colleagues, customers, and external stakeholders professionally.
  • Basic proficiency in using computer systems and retail software. Previous experience with inventory or point-of-sale (POS) systems is an advantage.
  • Flexible availability to support store hours, which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
