As a Reception Supervisor, you'll support the Reception Manager in leading the front office team, ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional welcome and a seamless experience throughout their stay.
What You'll Do You'll be responsible for
- Supervising the day-to-day front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs.
- Providing hands-on support during busy periods while leading by example.
- Coaching and mentoring the reception team to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
- Handling escalated guest queries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and operations.
- Managing shift handovers, guest billing, and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintaining a well-presented, efficient, and welcoming front-of-house environment.
- Upholding compliance with hotel policies and health & safety standards.
What We're Looking For We're looking for an approachable, guest-focused leader with a flair for organisation and an eye for detail.
You'll have
- Proven experience in a front office or guest service role, ideally within hospitality.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a team.
- A natural ability to remain calm under pressure while solving problems with confidence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of hotel booking and PMS systems (training provided if required).
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
