The Rams Head Inn is an established and very busy community restaurant pub in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. The owners are seeking experienced chefs to join our growing kitchen team in a bustling restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, and be adept at food preparation and meal presentation in a fast-paced pub kitchen environment.
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the Lead Chef and the owners of the pub.
- Ensure all dishes are cooked and presented according to the restaurant's standards.
- Work with the team to develop exciting specials fully costed and suitable for our lovely customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate and communicate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and handovers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Line Cook or similar role is essential.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and meal preparation techniques.
- A family culture and a team player with a positive team spirited attitude is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced restaurant setting.
