The Raleigh School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join their lovely team! The role is to support children in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 alongside the class teacher.

30.83 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, term time only.

The Raleigh School, a member of the South Farnham Educational Trust, is a friendly, popular two form entry primary school located in the village of West Horsley. The school consistently secures strong pupil attainment and progress, including for those with special educational needs. The OFSTED report (December 2017 & March 2024) graded the School as Outstanding.

South Farnham Educational Trust is a multi-academy trust which currently consists of eleven schools. Our thriving School Centred Initial Teacher Training establishment (SCITT) is an outstanding, innovative, well-established and highly respected provider of Primary and Secondary Initial Teacher Training. It has over 100 trainees and from September 2021 South Farnham School was awarded Teaching School Hub status.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, kind team player and would also suit a graduate (or equivalent) who may be interested in pursuing a career in teaching at a future date and would like to gain school experience. The position requires good interpersonal skills and a strong desire to develop and support children in all areas of school life.
