The predicted salary is between 17322 - 24131 Β£ per year.

We are looking for enthusiastic graduates to join us as Teaching Assistants, working 5 days a week. You will work under the guidance of class teachers to provide teaching support both inside and outside of the classroom. The role includes:

  • Working with groups of children
  • Supporting children with special educational needs
  • Assisting with displays of pupils' work
  • Preparation of learning materials
  • Supervising pupils during break and lunch times

You will gain invaluable experience and training, and the option of applying for the SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) programme starting in September 2027. The post is fixed term until 31st August 2027.

30.83 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only).

The Raleigh School, a member of the South Farnham Educational Trust, is a friendly, popular two form entry primary school located in the village of West Horsley. The school consistently secures strong pupil attainment and progress, including for those with special educational needs. The OFSTED report (March 2023) graded the School as Outstanding.

South Farnham Educational Trust is a multi-academy trust which currently consists of seven schools. The position requires good interpersonal skills and a strong desire to develop and support children in all areas of school life. The successful candidate will also be given a contract for 30 minutes Midday Supervision five days a week.
