Are you passionate about working with children and eager to start a rewarding career in childcare? We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Apprentice to join our friendly nursery team.

Duties:

  • Supervision of children's play both indoors and outdoors
  • Supervising meal times and preparing snacks
  • Carrying out child led and adult led activities
  • Lots of storytelling and playing!
  • Preparing activities and resources
  • Liaising with parents/carers
  • Working as part of a team to develop areas in the playrooms
  • Helping staff in care routines
  • Supervising children on outings in the local community
  • Taking part in physical play within our extra activities at Take2
  • Carrying out observations on children and help them achieve their next steps in learning
  • Log information on our online system for parents/carers
  • Support staff caring for children with SEND and EAL (where appropriate)
  • Helping staff to maintain a clean and safe environment
