Are you passionate about working with children and eager to start a rewarding career in childcare? We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Apprentice to join our friendly nursery team.
Duties:
- Supervision of children's play both indoors and outdoors
- Supervising meal times and preparing snacks
- Carrying out child led and adult led activities
- Lots of storytelling and playing!
- Preparing activities and resources
- Liaising with parents/carers
- Working as part of a team to develop areas in the playrooms
- Helping staff in care routines
- Supervising children on outings in the local community
- Taking part in physical play within our extra activities at Take2
- Carrying out observations on children and help them achieve their next steps in learning
- Log information on our online system for parents/carers
- Support staff caring for children with SEND and EAL (where appropriate)
- Helping staff to maintain a clean and safe environment
