You'll work closely with our in-house content creator, marketing and creative teams, and be confident leading the function independently - from strategy through to execution and reporting.
While The Ragged Priest will be the primary focus, this role also includes supporting the other brands within the Chapters Brand Group, developing tailored strategies for different brands, audiences and stages of growth.
The Role

- Own the content calendar, ensuring content is aligned with product launches and key moments.
- Plan, schedule and optimise daily social media posts, including copywriting and captions.
- Manage and brief content planning and creation, working with in-house content creator.
- Community management: building followers, pro-actively replying to all DMs/comments/tags etc.
- Awareness of social media trends, ensuring content is relevant for the audience whilst remaining consistent to the brand image, tone of voice and visual identity across social platforms.
- Confidently present social strategy, performance and decisions to senior management.
- Reporting: track and report on engagement, growth, reach and other relevant metrics, feeding back to the team on what is working and what isn't and adapting strategy.
- PR, Influencers & Gifting
- Build The Ragged Priest brand awareness - liaise with PR agencies, media outlets, and influencers to increase positive brand exposure and press coverage.
- Develop and implement an effective PR strategy, driving brand awareness and delivering consistent, relevant coverage.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers, stylists, talent, agents and media.
- Own and grow media and talent contact lists.
- Lead influencer seeding and gifting aligned with launches and key moments.
- Write and pitch press releases to fashion, culture and digital media.
- Negotiate paid influencer collaborations where appropriate.
- Plan, organise and host press, influencer and brand events.
- Collaborate with creative teams to identify new talent, partnerships and opportunities to drive growth.
- Act as a brand ambassador and point of contact for all PR enquiries.
- Strategy, Reporting & Collaboration
- Ownership of organic social and PR - building strategy, setting direction and driving decisions.
- Balancing long term strategy and planning with weekly execution.
- Work closely with paid marketing and creative teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Coordinate sample requirements (for shoots and press) alongside product teams.
- Work with founder to set KPIs across social growth, engagement and PR coverage, including budgets.
- Report on performance, insights and opportunities to the wider team and senior management.
