We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis Chef to join our culinary team. You will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation and production meet our high standards of quality and safety. The Ragged Cot is a picturesque, boutique country inn and restaurant housed in a 16th-century coaching house. It blends rustic charm with modern comforts. Located in Minchinhampton, just outside Stroud, backing onto National Trust land and the building is believed to date back to around 1610.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and meets quality standards
- Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers

- Previous experience as a commis chef
- 1+ years of experience in the hospitality and catering industry
- Ability to work rotating shifts (day, afternoon, night) depending on the company's needs
- Having a car will be an advantage due to the nature of the location. Accommodation is available if required
