JOB TITLE: ROOM ATTENDANT

DEPARTMENT: HOUSEKEEPING

RESPONSIBLE TO: HEAD HOUSEKEEPER AND ASSISTANTS

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To maintain high standards of cleanliness and service in all allocated areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

1 Clean allocated bedrooms, Corridors, and bathrooms to the standard set by the House Management and as set out in the room procedure.

2 Prepare trolleys and linen for the following day.

3 Undertake all project work in the bedrooms as directed.

4 Report all maintenance faults to the Housekeeper.

5 Ensure lost property is deposited and logged with the Head Housekeeper.

6 Report all security breaches to the Housekeeper.

7 Cover any other position within the housekeeping department during periods of sickness or over holidays.

8 Carry out any related duties as designated by Housekeeping Management.

9 Attend staff training sessions and courses are required.

10 Maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.

11 Be fully conversant with the Clubs Rules, Regulations and Staff Handbook.

12 To cover public area duties in the morning as required.
