The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
You will provide effective leadership to a team of supervisors and customer service assistants to achieve high standards of customer satisfaction and meet revenue and profitability targets for the store through the delivery of the Society’s retail offering.
Candidates must be flexible in their working hours and will be required to cover various shifts including weekends and evenings, contracted to 39 hours per week working any 5 out of 7 days.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Being an advocate for co-operative values and principles, promoting and reinforcing these within the team.
- Maintaining store operating procedures in line with health and safety regulations, legal compliance, and store standards.
- Managing attendance and staff rotas to ensure efficient and cost-effective use of staff resources, including duty manager coverage, and delivering personnel costs within budget.
- Addressing absence or punctuality issues in line with the Society’s disciplinary procedures.
- Being accountable for the store\’s annual budget, participating in store audits, and actively engaging in regular profit and loss reviews.
In addition to these responsibilities, your area manager will set objectives regularly.
You will have:
- At least 12 months of experience in a retail management role.
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, ideally food retail.
- A personal licence.
- Ideally, a current first aid certificate.
