About the Role

You’ll be leading a dedicated team carrying out a range of outdoor farming tasks including field walking, sheeting, and other seasonal activities. While the work is straightforward & variable, it can be physically tough, so excellent stamina and a strong work ethic are essential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Direct daily fieldwork and keep the team focused on task and quality.
  • Set clear goals & expectations, maintain pace, and make decisions on the ground.
  • Monitor performance and report accurately to management.
  • Motivate and support your team members.
  • Spot and resolve problems before they escape.
  • Maintain records and communicate any issues promptly.
  • Lead by example.

Experience supervising or organising others (formal or informal, we'll consider strong candidates without a job title to show for it, but you'll need to demonstrate the instinct). Excellent communication, clear, direct, and honest. Self‑discipline with the ability to keep a team focused on the goal in tough conditions. Strong attention to detail and a tidy, organised approach. Integrity you'd be happy to stand behind. Full UK driving licence (preferably clean); you'll be driving one of our vehicles. Smartphone with reliable internet access. Physically fit and able to sustain long hours outdoors in all conditions. First Aid certificate is desirable, but we'll provide training.

Full-time: 60 hours/week. Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays during peak periods. Location: You must already live in East Suffolk, ideally near Woodbridge, Ipswich, or Needham Market.
