Job Purpose

To provide efficient administrative support to the Finance team, primarily within the accounts receivable function, operating within the service level agreements and existing processes, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. To respond to first line finance enquiries from across the organisation, escalating enquiries when necessary, to ensure effective and efficient solutions are provided within a timely manner.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage accounts receivable mailboxes – answering first-line queries from internal and external stakeholders and escalating appropriately, in line with agreed timescales.
  • Preparation of daily bank account reconciliations, spanning the organisation, including domestic and foreign currency accounts.
  • Performing tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
  • Generating reports and preparing monthly statements for use by the department and wider business as appropriate.
  • Working with our Hospitality and Ticketing teams to ensure customer accounts are up to date and accurate.
  • Identify risks within the credit control element and escalate to the relevant entity controller.
  • Preparing and submitting National Office of Statistics forms within the agreed timescales.
  • Assisting accounts payable with purchase order processing.
  • Providing ad hoc support to the Finance team as and when required.

Expertise

  • Experience within a finance function particularly accounts receivable and bank reconciliations is desirable.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail.
