Overview

Restaurant Manager - £50,000 - The Olive Tree Restaurant – 1 Michelin Star, 4 AA Rosettes at The Queensberry Hotel, Bath.

We’re on the lookout for a brilliant Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house at The Olive Tree — our intimate, Michelin-starred restaurant tucked inside the gloriously individual Queensberry Hotel. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves great food, exceptional wine, and running a dining room with confidence, warmth, and just the right amount of flair. You’ll be working closely with General Manager Oliver Harris and Executive Chef Chris Cleghorn, helping to shape memorable guest experiences while leading a close-knit, highly professional team.

The Good Stuff

  • Temporary relocation support available (1–2 months)
  • 50-cover restaurant
  • Service pattern and size: 50-cover restaurant, 7 breakfasts, 3 lunches
  • Team: 7 full-time and 7 part-time FOH staff (including you)
  • Open Tuesday–Sunday
  • Closed Mondays (and Mondays & Tuesdays throughout January)
  • Three full closure weeks every year — April, August, and November — which typically form the Restaurant Manager’s annual leave.
