One of the first purpose-built hotels in Europe, Queens Hotel was built on the site of the original Sherborne Spa, and became used as suitable accommodation for the nobility and royalty who visited Cheltenham to restore, renew and revive.

The Queens Hotel Cheltenham is one of the first purpose-built hotels in Europe. The hotel was declared then, as now, as one of the noblest buildings of its kind in Europe. Queens Hotel was opened on the 21st of July 1838, named in honor of Queen Victoria whose coronation fell in the same year.
Our Opportunity
You will be washing, cleaning and clearing all kitchen areas. You will assist in putting away deliveries, emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors. You will be ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly.
Key Responsibilities:

Washing up crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and utensils to a high standard.

Maintaining cleanliness in all kitchen and food preparation areas.

Sweeping, mopping, and deep-cleaning floors regularly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.

Cleaning down surfaces, equipment, and kitchen appliances following health and safety regulations.

Disposing of kitchen waste, emptying bins, and managing recycling correctly.

Assisting with receiving, unpacking, and putting away deliveries in the correct storage areas.

Supporting the chefs and kitchen team by ensuring equipment and tools are always available and in place.

Following all food hygiene and safety guidelines, including COSHH procedures where necessary.
