One of the first purpose-built hotels in Europe, Queens Hotel was built on the site of the original Sherborne Spa, and became used as suitable accommodation for the nobility and royalty who visited Cheltenham to restore, renew and revive. Our Opportunity
Working evening shifts, including weekends, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas, as well as responding to guest requests for housekeeping services throughout the evening. Your main duties will include:
- Refreshing guest rooms and bathrooms as needed (e.g. turndown service or late cleans)
- Maintaining cleanliness in corridors and public areas during the evening
- Responding promptly to any guest housekeeping requests
- Replenishing towels, toiletries, and amenities as needed
- Supporting the wider housekeeping team with tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate departments
What We're Looking For:
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred
- A strong eye for detail and a high standard of cleanliness
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Friendly, professional attitude with a willingness to help
- Availability to work evening shifts, including weekends
