An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing team in our Endoscopy Unit here at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn. In our new state of the art unit, we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic registered practitioner to work in all areas of the department. This unmissable opportunity is suitable either for a practitioner who already works in Endoscopy or is interested in learning Endoscopy.
This busy unit works over 6 days a week, offering a service to both out‑patients and in‑patients, providing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for adults and also participates in an out of hours on call rota. Main duties of the job
- As a Registered Nurse you will work with all members of the Ward/Department clinical team and within the multi‑disciplinary framework.
- You will maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Ward/Department Sister/Charge Nurse, taking the lead in clinical areas when competent, in the absence of a senior member of staff.
- At all times, you will work in accordance with the principles governed by the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and Trust Policies.
- To provide high standards of care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
- To adhere to the hospitals trust values and incorporate these into your daily work.
