We are currently looking to recruit Anaesthetic Practitioner / ODP to join us as part of our friendly and enthusiastic Day Surgery Theatre team.
We cover a wide range of specialties including oral, ENT, gynaecological, urological, orthopaedic, ophthalmic, general surgery, Bronchoscopy and a pain service.
We offer a busy exciting work environment and we are committed to the support and training of our staff, as such we are keen to develop suitable candidates within the role.
There will also be a requirement to work within main theatres
A UK recognised anaesthetic qualification is essential for this role.
Our day surgery unit comprises of 4 operating theatres, a minor procedure room and a recovery area.
You will need to be highly motivated and enthusiastic, preferably have experience in a day surgery theatre environment and possess excellent communication skills. We require individuals who are forward thinking and well organised with a positive attitude towards flexibility and change. There will also be an expectation to work in Main theatres
Newly qualified practitioners or students due to qualify within 6 months will also be considered.
Thereβs never been a more exciting time to join TeamQEH. Weβre working on a once in a generation opportunity to build a new state-of-the-art hospital to open in 2030 and we are also carrying out on one of the biggest pieces of digital transformation work weβve ever undertaken.
Our new electronic patient record (EPR) will replace paper-based patient records from 2026 and will lead to better, safer, joined-up care at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and beyond.
