The Queen Elizabeth Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated full‑time Teaching Assistant to work as part of a team that strives to give every student the best educational experience.
Responsibilities:
- Work under the guidance/instruction of designated teaching/senior staff to undertake work, care, and support programmes.
- Enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
- Carry out tasks in the classroom or outside the main teaching area under the guidance of teaching staff.
Qualifications:
- Maths and English GCSE grade C/4 or above.
- Previous experience of working with children.
- Ability to multi‑task, with strong organisation and time‑management skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Successful applicant will undertake an enhanced DBS criminal record check.
