Working hours
This is a full-time role of 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09.30am to 5.30pm, with time outside of these hours required on occasions. We currently operate a discretionary hybrid model, with three days in our London office and two working from home.
About the role
As a Key Account Manager, you will the first point of contact for some of the UK’s major accounts, responsible for managing all parts of their business needs and requirements, and to proactively grow sales and profitability.
What you will be involved in:
- Maintain and develop relationships with designated key accounts
- Oversee all sales activities for designated accounts
- Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to achieve market growth, capitalising on opportunities, and addressing any underperformance
- Negotiate terms and discounts, and work closely with campaigns team to align any promotional activity
- Provide regular reporting and analysis of key account performance for stakeholders
- Provide market insights, competitor feedback and recommendations for editorial
- Provide insight and information to support the decision-making in acquisitions and print forecast process
- To attend key trade shows and events as required
About you
You will have a strong track record in UK trade sales, with at least 2 to 3 years experience at executive level, as well as demonstrating a confident understanding of this role.
You will be able to show you can:
