You would be a key player in supporting sales to our existing customer base, whilst also pursuing new sales initiatives.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: From £25,500 (depending on experience and the level appointed at)

Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We operate a discretionary hybrid model; with three days in our London office and two days working from home.

  • Maintain customer stock data and chase reprints
  • Work closely with creative departments, foreign sales, publishers and production teams
  • Assist with the preparation of customer meetings and creating sales tools and presentations

About you: You will have experience in a rights or sales department in publishing, and ideally working knowledge of the production process. This role would suit an experienced assistant looking for the next step in their career, or a rights executive with an interest in the English-language co-edition markets.

  • Apply good commercial awareness, with an appetite for sales and a results-focused mentality
  • Show strong presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrate good organisational skills
  • Be comfortable learning to use new tools and databases
  • Manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with internal colleagues
  • Provide excellent service to both customers and the team

Foreign language proficiency is desirable. As part of a busy international rights team, opportunities may arise across the department. Mandarin speakers are particularly encouraged to apply.
