What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Assist with the smooth running of your section during busy service periods.
- Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with food preparation and service.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures are followed.
- Help to develop and contribute to new dishes and seasonal menus.
- Maintain stock levels and minimise waste through effective planning.
- Inspect deliveries for quality and freshness, ensuring proper storage.
- Take responsibility for maintaining a clean and organised workstation.
- Contribute to team meetings and training sessions to enhance performance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in a fast-paced kitchen.
- A passion for fresh, locally sourced food and creative cooking.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the team.
