We are seeking a talented and passionate Floor Manager to join our new opening, The Horses!

Opening in August 2026, The Horses will bring a fresh hospitality offering to Farringdon.

Set within a building that has long been part of the local community, the venue will combine a pub atmosphere with exceptional dining, quality drinks, and attentive service across multiple floors.

We are building a team that prides itself on delivering authentic hospitality, who are collaborative and create a genuinely warm, welcoming environment for every guest.

This is an opportunity to join a new opening and help shape the venue from day one, becoming part of a business that values quality, teamwork, and a shared passion for great service.

  • Salary- £32,000 - £35,000 per annum + Tips (Earn an extra £15,000 per annum )

What you'll be doing as a Floor Manager

  • Supervise, train, and motivate staff to provide excellent service and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage during peak hours, while staying within budgeted labour costs.
  • Actively support and collaborate with the General Manager and marketing team to implement promotional strategies and enhance the venue visibility in the local community.
  • Manage budgets, monitor expenses, control labour costs, and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Ensure the restaurant complies with allconditions of the license, policy and legislation, including health and safety, and maintains a clean and safe environment.
  • Monitor quality, presentation, and overall guest satisfaction, working closely with the team to maintain high standards and support your team during a busy service.

About you, our new Floor Manager

  • Proven experience in a leadership role in the hospitality industry.
  • Ideally have previous experience in a high end venue or fine dining.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Positive and friendly attitude, with a willingness to work collaboratively with the team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
