Practice Manager – Full‑Time (Dental Practice)
Hours: 8:30 – 17:00
On‑Call: 1 weekend per month
About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive, and people‑focused Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy dental practice. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, leads confidently, and ensures smooth clinical and administrative workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day practice operations and ensure efficient patient flow
- Lead, support, and develop the practice team
- Oversee compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements (CQC, GDC, NHS where applicable)
- Manage rotas, staffing, recruitment, and HR processes
- Handle patient enquiries, complaints, and service improvements
- Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and reporting
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and infection control
- Participate in 1 weekend on‑call rota per month
Requirements
- Previous experience in dental or healthcare practice management (preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities
- Confident with practice software and digital systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Knowledge of compliance, audits, and regulatory frameworks
