About the Role
We are looking for a confident and experienced Qualified Dental Nurse to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is patient‑focused, organised, and able to support both clinical and reception duties when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance for dentists and clinicians
- Preparing surgeries and maintaining high standards of cross‑infection control
- Sterilisation and decontamination of instruments
- Updating patient records and ensuring accurate documentation
- Supporting reception when needed (booking appointments, handling enquiries, patient check‑ins)
- Ensuring smooth day‑to‑day running of the practice
- Adhering to CQC and practice policies at all times
Requirements
- Fully qualified and GDC‑registered Dental Nurse
- Minimum 2 years' experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Professional, friendly, and patient‑centred approach
- Reception experience preferred (not essential)
- Confident using practice software and general IT systems
