Position Overview: Internal Medicine trained physician needed for outpatient primary care. This position focuses on diagnosing and treating nonsurgical conditions of internal organ systems in adult and adolescent patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct general consultations and patient assessments
- Diagnose and treat common health problems
- Help patients manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure
- Prescribe medications and provide preventive care advice
- Document patient test results, examination notes, and medical history
- Provide regular care for patients at outpatient clinics
Required Qualifications:
- Internal Medicine training completed
- MD or DO degree
- Valid medical license or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
