We are looking for a full-time Psychiatrist to join our inpatient psychiatric unit with one of the best health care systems in the Northeast. Come and join a wonderful team in a beautiful location near the coast line of Connecticut.
The role:
When people in Eastern Connecticut need help with behavioral health – whether for psychiatric illness or chemical dependency – they turn to this facility. The hospital's 57-bed facility provides inpatient care for over 650 children and adolescents and 1,300 adults with mental illness or substance abuse issues each year.
Qualifications for this position include:
- Medical degree
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Can obtain CT state license if you are relocating from outside the state
