Protocol is currently working with a range of Further Education providers across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas, who are looking for talented Animal Care Lecturers. We are building a strong pipeline of candidates ahead of the September start, with opportunities across full-time, part-time and temporary long-term assignments. Whether you're an experienced Lecturer or a newly qualified teacher looking to gain FE experience, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Protocol with FE providers in South Yorkshire and surrounding areas and help build a pipeline of Animal Care Lecturer opportunities.
  • Recruit and place candidates across full-time, part-time and temporary assignments for September starts.
  • Provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate required compliance checks and DBS requirements prior to placement.

What you'll need

  • Experience teaching students aged 16-19.
  • Experience teaching Animal Care within a Further Education setting.
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent).
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
  • Be willing to complete all required compliance checks prior to placement.
