We are looking for a skilled and passionate Motor Mechanics Tutor to join the education team at HMP Highpoint. In this role, you will deliver hands‑on vocational training to small groups of learners, helping them develop practical skills in motor vehicle maintenance and repair, alongside essential workplace behaviours. You will support learners to gain industry‑relevant knowledge and prepare for employment opportunities within the automotive sector. Key Responsibilities- Teach practical skills in maintenance, repair, and vehicle systems

- Maintain accurate records in line with quality standards
- Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance / Motor Mechanics (essential)
- Significant industry experience in motor vehicle repair and maintenance
- Experience delivering training or coaching (desirable)
- Ability to engage learners through practical, hands‑on teaching
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Passion for supporting learners to develop skills and confidence
Full training and support will be provided to help you gain a teaching or assessing qualification during your probation period.
