We are recruiting GCSE English Lecturers for a range of Further Education colleges across Merseyside. Opportunities are available on both a temporary and permanent basis, offering flexibility to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students to achieve their target grades.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with safeguarding requirements.
Requirements
- Level 5 or above teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent).
- Degree or relevant qualification in English or a related subject.
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student success.
- Previous Further Education (FE) teaching experience.
- Experience teaching GCSE English and/or Functional Skills English.
- Experience supporting learners with diverse needs.
