Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate GCSE Maths Lecturer to join a Further Education setting in Bury on a full‑time basis for the full academic year.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective GCSE Maths lessons to learners of varying abilities.
- Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements.
- Support students to achieve their target grades and build confidence in maths.
- Maintain accurate records of progress and provide feedback to students and staff.
- Contribute positively to the wider teaching team and learning environment.
Requirements
- A recognised teaching qualification (e. g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching within Further Education (FE).
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths and familiarity with GCSE curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to supporting learner development and achievement.
