We are partnering with a number of leading Further Education Colleges across London that are investing in the growth of their Science provision.

As student demand for STEM programmes continues to increase, colleges are seeking passionate and knowledgeable Science Lecturers to support the delivery of high-quality education across a range of courses.

We welcome applications from specialists in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Applied Science, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, and related disciplines.

The Role

As a Science Lecturer, you will play a key role in helping learners achieve their academic and career ambitions.

You will deliver engaging lessons, support student progression, and contribute to a positive learning environment that promotes achievement and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across Science programmes.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
  • Support and motivate learners to achieve their full potential.
  • Track student progress and provide timely feedback.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate learner records and assessment documentation.
  • Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree qualification in a relevant Science subject.
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience teaching within Further Education, Sixth Form, Higher Education or a related educational setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding learner outcomes.
  • Experience teaching BTEC, T Level, A Level or Access to HE programmes.
  • Industry experience within a scientific, laboratory or research environment.
  • Experience with practical laboratory delivery and assessment.
