Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable General Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and welcoming school in Cheadle. This role is perfect for someone passionate about education and eager to support the academic and personal development of children across various age groups.

The successful candidate will:

Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom behaviour.

Work with small groups or individual students to provide tailored assistance and promote engagement.

Help prepare learning materials and maintain a safe, organised classroom environment.

Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages all students to succeed.

A Teaching Assistant qualification or experience in a similar role is desirable.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Up-to-date Safeguarding training (preferred but not essential, as training can be provided).

Right to Work in the UK.

Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.

Provide two professional child-related references.
