The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

We have opportunities in your area to be a Tutor, working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs. Working across a broad age range, some students may be disengaged with mainstream education or education in a classroom / school setting for a number of reasons. This could be due to Autism, ADHD and sometimes challenging behaviour. We support disadvantaged students achieve their academic goals and are a leading reputable provider of alternative and supplementary education to schools and local authorities, supporting children from all backgrounds through one-to-one and small group tuition programmes.

As the specialist tutor, your skill and expertise will play a leading role in improving self-confidence, subject knowledge and ultimately a positive outcome for all students.

Hours are flexible to suit you and whilst experience is preferred, a formal teaching qualification is not necessarily required. We are unable to offer sponsorship, and UK based education experience is required.

Candidates from a care, support work or youth work background considered and you will focus on:

· Create lesson plans and deliver tuition programmes that are designed to engage, inspire and teach.

· Report on attendance, attainment and engagement for all tutoring sessions.

· Complete training as required and commit to safeguarding principles.

· Minimum 6 months education based work experience gained in the UK

· Must live and be eligible to work in the UK.

· Be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.

· Knowledge of the national curriculum for your chosen subject.

· A commitment to safeguarding.
