The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

We are seeking dedicated Child / Young Person Support Workers to join our team, working closely with children and young people on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis to ensure their safety, care, and well-being.

This role requires keen attention to detail and the ability to confidently document observations on the young person’s emotions, interactions, learning progress, and daily routines.

You will be actively involved in engaging activities with the young person, encouraging them to become more independent, follow a routine, and focus on their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide dedicated 1:1 or 2:1 support to children and young people.

· Participate in and encourage daily activities that promote independence and learning.

· Maintain detailed records of observations regarding the young person’s emotional and educational development.

· Support the development of routines and positive behaviours.

· Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with challenging behaviour, mental health issues, or disabilities, is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

· Ability to adapt and respond swiftly to challenging situations.

· High level of patience and emotional resilience.

· Non-judgmental attitude, regardless of the individual’s needs or behaviours.

· Calm under pressure and capable of managing difficult situations effectively.

· Willingness to undergo training and personal development in line with changing standards.

Working Hours:

· 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

· Term-time only options are available.

Requirements:

· Enhanced DBS and reference checks.

· Existing eligibility to live and work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship).
