Do you have a talent for building relationships, breaking down barriers and engaging young people when they lose focus? Are you looking for a new opportunity where you can build a career and feel rewarded at the end of each day? We have full-time vacancies in our partner schools which focus on supporting children to manage their behaviour.

Working in small classes from Reception through to Year 11, you will be using behaviour management techniques to assist pupils in overcoming barriers to their learning.

Many of the pupils will have Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH), as well as associated needs such as Autism or ADHD, and will have an Education, Health and Care Plan to support their learning journey.

Whilst we are open to the type of individual who will be proficient in this role, traditionally, we would be looking for someone who would create fun and engaging ways to support students from underprivileged backgrounds and areas of high deprivation.

The school offers bespoke curriculums based on children’s’ needs and interests including vocational learning, with lessons taking place in small groups of no more than 8 pupils.

The school focuses on making a positive impact by identifying areas where progress can be made. This can be emotionally, socially, behaviourally, or academically.

· Be confident in your ability to learn and implement behaviour management techniques and be willing to continually reflect and develop new skills

· To mentor and engage with the students, delivering specifically designed education programmes to suit ability and need.

· Demonstrate resilience, empathy, patience and have a positive attitude.

Anyone working with children and young people needs to be eligible to live and work in the UK, be willing to apply or be registered on the DBS Update Service, and be fully reference checked. Please only apply if you are eligible to live and work in the UK.
