Were looking for a dependable and skilled Property Maintenance Worker to join our team and help keep our properties safe, functional, and well-presented. Youll handle a variety of repair, upkeep, and improvement tasks across residential and/or commercial sites. If youre practical, proactive, and take pride in quality workmanship, this role will suit you well.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out general maintenance tasks including plumbing, joinery, painting, plastering, and minor electrical work
Perform routine inspections to identify issues before they become major problems
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Complete repairs to fixtures, fittings, and building structures
Maintain outdoor areas such as pathways, gardens, and communal spaces
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety regulations
Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any follow-up required
Liaise with tenants, property managers, and contractors when needed
Assist with planned refurbishment or improvement projects
**MUST HAVE ACCESS TO OWN VAN**
Previous experience in property maintenance, building repairs, or a similar role
Strong practical skills across multiple trades
Ability to diagnose problems and carry out effective repairs
Good communication and customer-service skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Full UK driving license
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) are an advantage but not essential
