Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical testing to ensure that each item is safe to use.
  • Carry out fuse changes, plug replacements and re-terminations where necessary
  • Microwave Emission Testing
  • Complete and submit paperwork as agreed
  • Manage appliance testing in accordance with health and safety requirements

Qualifications and requirements

  • Desirable City & Guilds 2377 (but inhouse training will be provided if necessary)
  • Basic electrical knowledge an advantage
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Current Driving Licence and must have own transport
  • A professional approach
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • You will be paid at a test rate per appliance
  • Working away is required with this role, some out of hours which would be nights and the occasional weekend
