Job Overview

We are looking for a Financial Planning Administrator (known internally as Client Executive) to join our team and manage specialised administration support/services and maintain excellent client relationships. Integral to the delivery of outstanding client experiences at Progeny, you will work alongside our knowledgeable Paraplanners and Financial Planners to assist on cases for a wide range of clients. You will be empowered to take on new tasks, develop specialist knowledge and establish yourself as a go‑to person in your team.

What You Will Do

  • Client service: act as a point of contact for clients, resolve client queries, prepare for client meetings and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Managing documentation: prepare, review and manage client documentation and maintain comprehensive client files and reports.
  • Client account management: complete additional client requests within set timeframes, including all post‑meeting actions.
  • Completing transactions: perform trading independently, such as switches, withdrawals and contributions.
  • Process management: undertake all processes required within the Client Executive centre of excellence and manage all tasks.
  • Liaising with providers: deal professionally with third‑party providers regarding transactions and submissions.
  • Data and system management: use platforms and systems to complete duties, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all client records, maintaining the accuracy of our CRM.

About You

  • Financial Services experience – a minimum of 2 years’ experience with a good understanding of financial products and FCA principles.
  • Client‑focused – experienced and thrive in a client‑facing role, with a genuine interest in their needs and enjoy providing proactive, effective and efficient support to stakeholders.
  • A confident platform and tech user – fully proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledgeable about different provider platforms and able to confidently produce and analyse reports.
  • Methodical and organised – motivated to deliver high‑quality work, with great levels of attention to detail and experience managing different priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – a supportive and collaborative team member with an ability to build strong relationships effectively; eager to contribute, share, coach others and embrace your role as a go‑to person for our Associate Client Executives.
  • Supporting others – keen to support your colleagues with their learning and professional growth, motivated to share your knowledge and take the initiative to upskill them where possible.
  • Self‑driven and autonomous – happy to work autonomously and eager to develop and maintain technical knowledge/skills to support the wider team.
  • Numerate – a good aptitude for numbers and enjoy applying them to real‑world scenarios.

Educational Requirements

No qualification in Financial Services/Planning required. Whilst working towards or holding a qualification in Financial Services is advantageous, we would still like to hear from you if you have developed great knowledge and skills in our sector and have an eagerness to learn or begin qualifications.
