About the Role

We are looking for exceptional tutors who have a degree from either Oxford or Cambridge Universities and have experience providing specialist admission preparation support to students applying for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Oxford and Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have attended either Oxford or Cambridge University, possess a strong academic background, and have significant success preparing students for Oxbridge interviews.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages tailored to individual courses, colleges, and student needs.
  • Conducting realistic mock interviews that accurately reflect Oxford and Cambridge interview styles and expectations.
  • Providing detailed verbal and written feedback to help students improve their interview technique.
  • Helping students develop confidence in discussing complex academic concepts under pressure.
  • Remaining up to date with developments and trends in Oxbridge admissions interviews.

Qualifications

  • A graduate degree from either Oxford or Cambridge University with a minimum classification of 2:1 or equivalent.

Required Skills

  • A thorough understanding of the Oxbridge interview process, as well as knowledge of the Oxbridge admissions process including personal statement support and admissions test preparation.
  • Experience conducting Oxbridge mock interviews across relevant subject areas.
  • Proven success supporting students with Oxbridge applications.
  • Previous tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or coaching experience.

  • Previous experience working internally in the admissions teams at either Oxford or Cambridge.
  • A Masters Degree.
