The Profs is an award-winning and innovative EdTech business providing higher education tutoring and admissions consulting to clients and institutions around the world. We are now looking to build on our phenomenal growth and expand our sales team.

We are a global education business, operating primarily B2C, supporting thousands of expert tutors and tens of thousands of students worldwide. Since our founding in 2015 by the Evans brothers, The Profs has been driven by a clear mission: to combine exceptional tutoring with innovative technology to help students achieve their personal and academic goals. Our commitment to excellence has been consistently recognised, with The Profs ranked as Trustpilot’s highest-rated tutoring company for eight consecutive years. We’ve been named the UK’s top tutoring company by Education Investor, listed among the UK’s Top 100 Startups, and received an innovation grant from the Department for Education.

About the Role: As part of our ambitious growth strategy within the admissions team, we are seeking a Senior Client Manager to drive performance, execute on sales, and ensure we continue to help as many students as possible receive their dream education outcomes. This is a pivotal moment to join us, as we enter a new phase of expansion across both the sales department and the wider company. You’ll gain a front-row seat to how a fast‑paced, high‑growth organisation scales—while playing a leading role in making it happen.

In this role, you’ll take full ownership of driving new business and expanding our client portfolio. You’ll lead the consultative sales process from initial enquiry through to close, identifying client needs, positioning tailored tutoring and admissions solutions, and securing high‑value packages. We define Client Management as a sales‑driven discipline focused on building long‑term partnerships from the very first interaction. Acting as the trusted first point of contact, you’ll combine deep product knowledge with commercial acumen to maximise conversion rates, increase revenue, and contribute directly to the company’s growth targets.

If you’re a high‑performing individual who consistently exceeds targets and is looking for greater responsibility, faster growth, and clear opportunities for development, this role is for you.

You Are:

  • Highly experienced: You possess 3-5 years sales experience in a B2C or B2B business.
  • A Proven Achiever: You have a proven track record of consistently surpassing sales targets that contribute towards high growth.
  • An Expert Closer: Proven experience in taking full ownership of the sales cycle – from lead qualification through to closing deals.
  • Innovative: Experience of refining and improving sales processes. You are a proactive problem solver that finds solutions rather than waiting for others.
  • A team player: Interested in supporting others and understanding that the best trainers adapt their training styles to the people they’re working with.
  • Have a university degree: with at least a 2:1 (In any subject).

It would be great if you also:

  • Have a background in working in education or a related field.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the UK education system.
  • Want to work with startup/scale up companies, and understand the challenges and rewards that such companies offer.
  • Have experience selling B2B or B2C services or support.

Important information to know:

  • Hours: Mondays - Fridays 9:00-18:00 (M)/9:00-17.00 (T-F)
  • Location: This role will be a hybrid of in‑office and working from home. In your first few weeks you’ll need to be in the office full time in order to be fully onboarded.
  • Salary: ÂŁ40,000-ÂŁ50,000 per annum (DOE. This is inclusive of expected OTE.)
  • Benefits: 31 days holiday p.a. including bank holidays (with the opportunity to earn more throughout the year), Free Gym, Free PT session every week, Company Pension Plan, Regular company socials, Flexible office hours (2 days wfh per week).

Application Process: Please apply by sending us your CV and a short explanation of why you would be suitable for the role.
