Who are The Profs? The Profs is an award-winning and innovative EdTech startup providing higher education tutoring to clients and institutions around the world. We are now looking to recruit an experienced internal Educational Consultant to join our company.
Our company is an innovative Edtech company with services and platforms ranging from online tutoring to university application help and real-time collaborative learning software. We are predominantly a B2C company and serve thousands of tutors and tens of thousands of students globally, but we also have a number of B2B clients including the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London among others.
Whatβs the role? We are looking for Oxford admissions tutors to work on our award winning University Admissions Branch. The ideal candidate will have attended either Oxford or Cambridge Universities, you will also have considerable admissions teaching/tutoring experience and a strong academic background.
Duties will include:
- Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages for students applying for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Managing a portfolio of clients and regularly feeding back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.
Required Skills:
- A graduate degree of 2.1 or higher.
- Tutoring or teaching experience.
- Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
- High level of interpersonal skills, especially empathy and patience.
- Educated at Oxford or Cambridge Universities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience of working in or knowledge of the UK education sector.
- Educated at Oxford or Cambridge Universities.
- Experience of online tutoring.
- Masters Degree.
- 2 Years tutoring experience.
