Online Computer Science Tutor

Overview

We are looking for highly experienced online Computer Science tutors to join our network who can support our clients at GCSE, A Level, undergraduate and postgraduate level. The role empowers students to reach their fullest potential and gain the knowledge and skills they need to excel in their school/course work and exams, and progress into their future careers. Significant experience teaching at university level and a track record of success in industry or education is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality, one-to-one tutoring to students online (may include the option for face-to-face sessions)
• Quickly identifying students’ needs
• Understanding course syllabuses and helping students revise their content in preparation for exams
• Preparing detailed lesson plans with a methodical approach

Experience and Skills

• Educated to degree level
• Experience teaching in the UK higher and/or further education sectors
• A teaching qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Experience as an online tutor (preferred but not essential)
• Experience working with international students (preferred but not essential)
