Founded in 2015 by the Evans brothers, The Profs was built on a clear mission: to combine exceptional tutoring with innovative technology to help students achieve their personal and academic goals. Our commitment to excellence has been widely recognised. We are Trustpilot’s highest‑rated tutoring company for eight consecutive years, have been named the UK’s top tutoring company by Education Investor, listed among the UK’s Top 100 Startups, and awarded a Department for Education innovation grant.
About the Role
As part of our ambitious growth strategy within the Tuition Team, we are seeking an experienced Client Manager to drive sales performance, own high‑value client relationships, and help more students achieve life‑changing academic outcomes. This is a pivotal time to join The Profs as we enter a new phase of expansion across both the Tuition Sales department and the wider business. You’ll gain a front‑row seat to how a fast‑paced, high‑growth organisation scales, while playing a hands‑on role in making that growth happen.
In this role, you will take full ownership of driving new business and expanding our tuition client portfolio. At The Profs, Client Management is a sales‑driven discipline. From the very first interaction, you will act as a trusted advisor to families and students, combining deep product knowledge with commercial acumen to maximise conversion rates, increase revenue, and build long‑term client relationships.
If you are a high‑performing sales professional who consistently exceeds targets and is looking for greater responsibility, faster progression, and clear development opportunities, this role is for you.

- Act as a presence within the team, supporting best practice and high performance
- Collaborate with Operations and Leadership to refine processes and improve efficiency
- Provide insight and feedback to support ongoing growth of the Tuition team
About You
You are:
- Highly experienced – 2–5 years’ sales experience in a B2C or B2B environment
- A proven achiever – a consistent top performer with a track record of exceeding targets in high‑growth settings
- An expert closer – experienced in owning the full sales cycle from lead qualification to deal close
- Commercially sharp – confident selling premium services and articulating value
- Innovative and proactive – experienced in refining sales processes and solving problems independently
- A team player – motivated to support and elevate others, adapting your approach to different people
- Highly organised – able to manage multiple leads, priorities and client relationships simultaneously
- Educated to degree level – with at least a 2:1 in any subject
