The Profs are an award-winning education provider that connects students in need of academic support with a network of highly qualified, professional and self-employed private tutors and education consultants. We are looking for experienced Engineering Oxbridge application tutors to join our network who can support our clients with applying to either Oxford or Cambridge.
Suitable Engineering Oxbridge admissions tutors will have experience in supporting students from similar subject backgrounds through every stage of the application process, with a particular emphasis on the personal statement, admissions tests, and interview preparation. You will have a proven track record of success in Oxbridge application support and must have studied at either Oxford or Cambridge University.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing Oxbridge application written statement support
- Providing Oxbridge admissions test support
- Understanding the Oxbridge admissions process and helping students revise their content in preparation for interview
- Providing high-quality, one-to-one Oxbridge application tutoring to students online (may be the option for face-to-face)
- Quickly identifying students’ needs
- Preparing detailed lessons plans with a methodical approach
- Educated in Engineering to degree-level from either Oxford or Cambridge University
- Proven track record of supporting Oxbridge application students
- Experience of teaching in the UK higher and/or further education sectors (Preferred but not essential)
- Experience of teaching online
- Experience of working with international students (Preferred but not essential)
