Who are The Profs? The Profs is an award-winning and innovative EdTech business providing higher education tutoring and admissions consulting to clients and institutions around the world.
Our company was founded by two brothers with a view to pairing tutors with technology to help students achieve their personal goals. We are headquartered in London and have grown to a 40 strong team split across sales, marketing, tech and operations. We work predominantly in a B2C capacity and connect students, typically 16-24 years old, and/or their parents with professional private tutors to help them get the results they need to progress in life. We also have a small number of B2B clients including the University of Cambridge, Oxford and Imperial College London among others. Last year we connected over 10,000 students with our 1,000 freelance tutors. They use our web-based platforms to have, administer and pay for online classes and we take a % fee. 90%+ of our survey respondents tell us they get their desired grades and into the preferred universities. As such, we are the highest rated tutoring company on Trustpilot and have won numerous awards.
