Who You are Reporting To: VFX Producer

What we are looking for:

As the VFX Coordinator you will be joining an innovative generative AI startup changing the future of filmmaking. The VFX Coordinator will report to the VFX Producer (LA), working closely with the Post Production, Pipeline, IO and Film Innovation teams. The VFX Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of projects including feature films, episodic series, and commercial content. The VFX Coordinator must be adept at maintaining projects in Flow Production Tracking Software, time management, and multi-tasking. This Coordinator must be able to work effectively and efficiently with our cross-functional teams in both the US and UK locations.

Requirements:

  • Assist the VFX Producer in outsourcing work including bidding, media and management
  • Oversee the sending and receiving of vendor packages in conjunction with the Data IO team
  • Maintain daily email correspondence with vendors
  • Liaise between vendors and internal teams and disseminate information in a timely manner
  • Create Flow project pages and playlists in multiple projects for daily review sessions
  • Coordinate and run review sessions
  • Take and distribute detailed notes and follow up on information as necessary
  • Managing the tasks and schedules of the internal artist team
  • Daily review of Flow projects to ensure statuses, assignments, notes and timelines are up to date
  • Work closely with the Producer/VFX Supervisors/IO teams to schedule tasks and facilitate delivery of final materials
  • Organize internal and external meetings (including those in multiple time zones)
  • Manage and distribute vendor contact lists for all associated projects
  • Create and track technical support tickets with the IO and Pipeline teams
  • Track invoices and payment status with the accounting department

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Flow, RV, MediaShuttle, Excel, Google Suite, Zoom, Jira, Confluence
  • Previous experience in visual effects, editorial or IO
  • In-depth understanding of live-action VFX workflow, processes/pipelines
  • Familiarity of common file formats and resolutions
  • Flexibility in working irregular hours to accommodate multiple time zones
  • Ability to manage several projects concurrently
  • Basic Davinci Resolve editorial knowledge is a plus
  • Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented
  • Multiple spoken language skills is a plus
