REPORTING ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a talented, detail-driven onsite copywriter to join our e-commerce Studio team for George. This is a hands-on, studio-based role requiring someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces AI as a creative productivity partner. Please note this role is studio based, 5 days per week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use AI writing tools (e.g. generative AI platforms) to support first-draft generation and identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks while preserving quality.
- Fact-check, edit, and humanise AI-assisted copy to maintain brand authenticity.
- Develop and refine prompt frameworks to increase efficiency and consistency.
- Translate garment specifications into customer-friendly, benefit-led copy.
- Maintain consistency across large product volumes while meeting daily targets.
- Ensure tone of voice aligns with George brand values.
- Apply SEO (search engine optimisation) best practice to improve visibility and search ranking.
- Support ad-hoc campaign, homepage and category copy when required.
SKILLS
- Proven experience in e-commerce product copy (fashion/retail preferred) for 5+ years.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
